Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy involves the use of manual therapy, such as joint manipulation and deep tissue massage, for the treatment of muscular, joint, ligament, tendon and nerve disorders. The most common of these being back or neck pain.


Early treatment of musculoskeletal disorders with physiotherapy minimises pain, swelling and tissue damage, prevents stiffness, and ensures a quicker return to health.

Additional therapies such as dry needling, taping, electrotherapy may also assist in a speedy recovery. An exercise regime will often be prescribed, enabling patients to manage the condition and to prevent re-occurrence of the problem.
